Kenneth Douglas Charlton

Kenneth Charlton (Ameri-Ken), age 51, tragically passed away October 22, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Ken is survived by his adult children, Kristyn Eremita, Justin Eremita, Gabriel Gamez and his brothers Daniel Charlton and Brian Charlton.

Kenneth was born in San Diego, California. Ken’s mother, Michelle, relocated to NYC when Ken was age 3. Ken spent most of his childhood and teen years in West Brighton, Staten Island, NY where he attended P.S 22, Port Richmond High School and later Concord High School.

Kenneth was a proud NYC Union Carpenter, local 608 then later local 157. Ken loved music, playing guitar, was in a band Under Pressure in the 80’s which he held dear, a beautiful writer, a poet, a patriot and a craftsman. Ken loved traveling, living in many states through his adult life and visiting almost every state in the U.S.A. He inspired his children through music and his writings.
