Janel Claire Hudson

Janel Claire Hudson born on April 26,1978. She graduated from Cape Henlopen School in 1996, then attended James Madison University in Virginia and graduated from Florida Atlantic University, suma cum laude, with degrees in Marketing and Business. Janel was awarded an internship at the corporate headquarters of Home Depot. While living in Florida, Janel married, obtained her real estate license, a degree in floral design and worked at the Heart Association.

Janel returned to Delaware and worked with her dad, Joseph Hudson to establish the
Hudson Soccer Fields, which hosts sporting and fundraising events. Janel was an accomplished equestrian and enjoyed the beach, camping and writing poetry. Janel was baptized in 2004. Janel was active in the recovery community. Janel was a courageous soldier and never gave up hope. She was an inspiration to all.

Janel was known as Sparkle Plenty to her dad, and will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. She was a bright light. Loved by many and missed by her real family and friends.

Janel returned to her true home in heaven on June 14, 2021. Janel left behind her mother and father and many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Couchman, Scotton and Hudson families.
